Rising to the Challenge

The heat of summer has arrived, especially for our friends in the Central Valley. The political climate is heating up as well for the coming fall. The stakes couldn’t be higher for the November elections that will determine who is president, who goes to Congress and who runs our cities, counties, and schools.

That’s why we need to do everything possible to get people to the polls in one of the Central Valley’s political “hot spots” — Congressional District (CD) 22. This has never been more important. CD 22 is rated one of the nation’s most critical toss-up races.

Many of you have risen to the challenge. With your generous support, our April 25 event with Dolores Huerta and Jane Fonda broke all our records! In all, over 600 people gave more than $250,000. Thank you!

Your support is being put to work right now! And for those who helped, attended, donated, shared the word — thank you for joining our community of volunteers reaching out to our neighbors in the Central Valley.

When we work together, there is nothing we cannot achieve.” —Dolores Huerta

"I've always believed that if you want to go fast, go alone. But if you want to go far, go together.” —Jane Fonda
